LuvDeck (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the LuvDeck mobile app (“the App”).

LuvDeck is a relationship and couples app designed to help users discover romantic date ideas, plan special events, and build meaningful memories with their partner. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

1. Contact Information

  • Email address: Collected at signup for account creation and authentication via Firebase Authentication.

  • We do not collect your name or other personally identifiable information unless voluntarily provided.

2. User Data

  • You can add and schedule events (birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, or custom events) and optionally add notes.

  • This information is used to provide notifications and help manage your personal event calendar.

  • No data is shared, sold, or used for purposes other than providing App functionality.

3. App Usage Data

  • Anonymous interactions, such as screen views and feature usage, may be collected to improve the user experience via Firebase Analytics (opt-in only).

4. Crash and Diagnostic Data

  • Device type, OS version, App version, timestamp, and anonymized diagnostics may be collected in case of app crashes (via Firebase Crashlytics).

  • This data does not include personal information.

5. Subscription Data

  • For premium subscriptions, we use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases.

  • Payment processing is handled by Apple’s StoreKit — we do not collect or store payment details.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide core app functionality (login, event scheduling, date ideas browsing)

  • Send notifications for saved events

  • Process subscriptions and manage accounts via RevenueCat

  • Maintain and improve app performance

  • Respond to user inquiries

We do not use your information for advertising or marketing outside the App.

Data Storage and Security

We take your privacy seriously and use industry-standard measures, including:

  • Secure encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (AES-256)

  • Optional biometric lock (Face ID / Touch ID)

  • Secure local storage and optional encrypted cloud sync via Firebase Firestore

  • Firebase Firestore access restricted to authenticated users only

Data is retained only while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where legally required.

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access or correct your information

  • Request deletion of your account and associated data

  • Withdraw consent for data collection (note: this may limit App functionality)

  • Opt out of analytics collection

Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If we discover a child has provided personal data, it will be deleted immediately.

Changes to This Policy

All changes will be posted here, with the updated effective date.
